About the Class:
I'm so excited to share that Explorers by Nature Ramona Fall Play classes are now open for enrollment! Join us for our all four of our monthly seasonal class offerings: 🍎 Little Farmers-September 17th Little hands become happy harvesters in this farm‑themed nature play class. Explorers dig into soil, plant seeds, gather and wash pretend produce, learn about some farm animal friends, and explore earthy sensory bins filled with corn kernels, beans, and oats. A cozy farmyard story time wraps up this sweet, down‑to‑earth adventure. 🎃 Pumpkins & Potions-October 1st Autumn magic comes alive as explorers mix, stir, and bubble their very own pumpkin potions. Children rotate through fall‑themed sensory bins, nature invitations, and pumpkin‑inspired art stations. Leaves, spices, gourds, and colorful scoops set the scene for playful discovery. We end with a pumpkin‑themed read‑aloud while little ones enjoy snacks and the fresh seasonal air. 🏮 Lantern Making & Walk-November 5th This glowing celebration invites families to craft their own nature lanterns using leaves, colorful tissue paper and twinkling tealights. Explorers decorate, paint, and assemble lanterns before joining a mini “lantern walk” filled with songs, movement, and wonder. The class blends creativity, seasonal storytelling, and the joy of watching handmade lanterns sparkle in the late morning sun as we take a practice lantern walk, in preparation of the twilight event offered later in November. ❄️ Winter Wonders-December 3rd Winter’s quiet magic becomes a playground for sensory exploration. Children discover icy treasures, snowy sensory bins, woodsy nature crafts, and gentle winter‑themed invitations to play. Together with their caregivers, explorers build tiny snow worlds, mix frosty potions, and enjoy a cozy winter storytime, complete with tasty herbal tea! It’s a celebration of sparkle, stillness, and seasonal imagination. Our outdoor classroom, nestled in the lovely Ramona mountains provides the perfect setting for this special four-session Fall Season: "Exploring the Great Outdoors" where explorers and their grown-ups (guides) will fall in love with nature through our four nature-inspired play-based learning sessions together!
