Pumpkins & Potions

Join us at Harry Griffen Park for a 90-minute Autumn-inspired class designed for explorers ages 2-8 with their grown-ups! We are also offering a limited number of drop-offs for children ages 4-8.

Explorers and their families will enjoy a child-led nature hike after a brief opening circle. Upon our return from our hike, children will be able to explore at our various nature play stations offered: a science station where explorers mix up their own potions in a pumpkin, while engaging in a full sensory experience to discover a pumpkin with all of their senses, Autumn-themed sensory bins for scooping, mixing, pouring and transferring, and a water-play station where we enjoy the properties of water alongside special Fall nature treasures.  

Our time together will wind down with an Autumn-themed story, songs and props to engage children during closing circle. Feel free to bring a snack to enjoy during either circle time!

This class format will be offered periodically to the community and will align with the current season! By enrolling in classes and events, each attendee agrees to Explorers by Nature's Terms & Conditions.
